orientation & leadership
"I want
to thank you for the great job you did for us during our New Student
Orientation in August. Your show is a unique combination of fun, light
entertainment and some very thought provoking ideas and discoveries."

Magically Speaking
John's
programs use a unique blend of magic, illusion and humor to communicate
important information to your new students. John delivers a one-hour stand-up
performance incorporating theme-oriented information with accompanying
magic tricks that serve as visual and metaphorical demonstrations of the
more relevant and important points. And before and/or after the stand-up
performance, John mixes with the students in a roving/strolling format
to establish rapport and set up or reinforce the important points from
the stand-up presentation. Most importantly, the program is both fun and
educational. Students really relate to John and listen intently, because
he's not lecturing them or preaching to them. Instead they relax and participate
in the program, enjoying themselves while learning at the same time!"Your roving and
stage magic proved to be an excellent addition to our Welcome Week activities.
You obviously love your work and it was truly a pleasure to see you communicate
this to the HUNDREDS OF STUDENTS with whom you came in contact."

Students
are encouraged to become and stay active in school activities in order
to become noticed by future employers. Because of John Fabjance's extensive
work with Fortune 500 companies, he knows that many companies give preference
to students who have proven that they can work as a team and get things
done. Many unfortunate school experiences have discouraged students from
learning to cooperate with each other or work as a team. Often, if you
help someone in a classroom setting you are branded as a 'cheater'. But
that's not how it is in the real world. Fabjance will not only tell you
about it, he'll demonstrate it as well.
More
than just a metaphor, these important programs communicate real life skills
concerning:
- Building
Bridges With Myers-Briggs!
- Sex,
AIDS, and Risk Management
- Misuse
& Abuse - Alcohol & Drug Awareness
- Self-Worth
& Self-Esteem
- Study
and Critical Thinking Skills
- Adapting
to Change
- Preparing
for the Future
- Just
for Fun!
